Two people from different backgrounds meet and lay the road for their entwined destiny on a cruise ship sailing toward the Bahamas. Chen Jia Xin, a reserved and unconfident administrative assistant, meets Wang Xi Yi, the elegant, sophisticated, and endearing heir of a significant toiletry company. Their impromptu one-night encounter is complicated by a misidentification, which prompts more conversations when they get back on land.

When Jia Xin gets pregnant, family pressures result in an arranged marriage with a divorce clause. The child will stay with Xi Yi, who plans to marry dancer Shi Anna, his longtime girlfriend.

A fatal event results from interference and miscommunication, sending Jia Xin—who is devastated—to escape her feelings and Xi Yi to Hungary, the home of her friend and art broker, Dylan. She makes a name for herself as a potter over the course of the following three years with the help of a well-known mentor, and Dylan supports her wholeheartedly and begins to feel a growing amount of affection for her.

During their separation, Xi Yi matures and recognizes his desire for a family. He has to resist the crazy Anna’s overtures while she tries to win him back. Dylan is still searching for his long-lost sister, from whom he was raised apart.

In Hungary, Xi Yi and Jia Xin reunited by chance and business. It’s as if they were never apart as their shared past and future opportunities come together, providing an opportunity for love to blossom again.
