As humans turn into savage monsters, one troubled teenager and his neighbours fight to survive and to hold onto their humanity.

Lonely Cha Hyun Soo relocates to a new apartment after his family dies in an accident. Strange events quickly interrupt his peaceful life, starting in his apartment and spreading throughout Korea. Hyun Soo and the other residents are trying to survive as humans begin to transform into monsters. Cha Hyun Soo and other residents of Green Home Apartments battle monsters in order to escape their base and explore the outside world. A baseball stadium becomes home to a community of survivors from all over the world. Both the monsters outside and the evil impulses of those within them pose a threat to them.

The dilemma of monsterization that never ends. After being devoured by monsters, Hyeon Su attempts to reclaim his humanity. In order to accomplish his purpose, Nam Sang Won—who had inhabited Pyeon Sang Uk’s body—visits the survivors’ stadium with a group of people. In addition, in contrast to the earlier guidelines, they proposed an unusual condition to make things easier for people who were experiencing symptoms. People are bewildered and stadiums are no longer secure places to be. Season 3 will bring an end to the tragic fight of people forced to choose between the border between humanity and monsters, while Eun Hyeok, who was reborn from the cocoon, comes in a new form.
