Synopsis
Newtopia depicts the journey of a soldier, Jae Yun, and his girlfriend, Yeong Ju, as they fight through a zombie outbreak in an air defense unit in a high-rise building in Seoul.
Jae Yun, who enlisted at the age of 26 while hoping for a defense industry job, faces a sudden breakup with Yeong Ju due to his insecurities. But as the world is overrun by zombies, he transforms from a timid young man into a capable leader of his squad.
Yeong Ju, a newcomer to society, struggles to understand Jae Yun’s insecurities before their breakup. When the zombie outbreak hits, she sets out to find him and gradually evolves into a resilient survivor.
Together, they navigate the dangerous new world, fighting zombies and pushing forward to reunite against all odds.
