Synopsis
Three seemingly ordinary middle-aged men—behind their modest looks are the pro skills that made them legends in their fields. Now in their fifties, thinking their glory days are long gone, they are unexpectedly pulled back into action. Even if your life hasn’t been perfect so far, it’s about filling the rest of your 50%—no matter what age you are. Just like these pros in their fifties.
Once South Korea’s top black-ops agent, Jung Ho Myeong now lives undercover as a staff of Chinese Restaurant at Yeongseon island after the failed “Black Pearl” mission. There, he somehow ended up with a wife… and even a child. And as the “Black Pearl” mission shows no signs of progress, he’s starting to forget he was ever an elite agent.
Formerly a North Korean special operative known as “Bulgae,” Bong Je Sun loses his memory after an incident connected to the Black Pearl and is swept onto a small South Korean island. The problem is that he happens to be carrying the very item everyone is desperately searching for—the Black Pearl.
Kang Beom Ryong, the former No. 2 of Hwasan gang, lost everything when the No. 3 framed and overthrew their leader. To clear Hwasan’s name, he also goes undercover as the owner of Yeongseon island Convenience Store on a mission to retrieve the Black Pearl.
