A bright and upbeat young lady, Xu Zhen doesn’t give up easy. She applies for a job at Jiang Ye Entertainment, where her mother works as a director, in an attempt to mend the rift between her and her sick father. There, she unintentionally watches Gu Chi Jun being ruthlessly turned down by his ex-girlfriend once more.

Gu Chi Jun tries everything to eject Xu Zhen so that she won’t have an opportunity to reveal what happened to him, all in an effort to preserve his enormous and severely injured ego. Instead, she becomes his personal assistant after winning him over. However, Xu Zhen discovers that she might be in danger after learning about a conspiracy within the company.
