Synopsis
Cha Ji Yun is a seventh-year office worker who has become trapped in a frustrating career slump. Despite being highly capable and trusted by her colleagues, she finds herself exhausted by both her professional and personal life. Struggling with disappointments in work and love, she simply tries to get through each day as best she can.
Her life takes an unexpected turn when she becomes increasingly involved with her direct supervisor, Kang Si U. Blessed with handsome looks, an impressive physique, and impeccable self-discipline, Si U appears to have everything. However, his cold personality, blunt remarks, and difficult attitude have earned him a notorious reputation as the company’s biggest grump.
To avoid an even worse situation, Ji Yun chooses the prickly Kang Si U as the “lesser evil.” What begins as an awkward and reluctant working relationship gradually evolves into something much deeper. As they spend more time together, the two help each other overcome personal struggles, discover new perspectives on life, and eventually become each other’s most important source of support.
