Synopsis
Set in 1999, *20th Century Girl* follows the story of 17-year-old Bo Ra, a bright and kind-hearted high school student who excels in taekwondo and is a member of the school’s broadcasting club. When her best friend Yeon Du goes to the U.S. for heart surgery, she asks Bo Ra to observe her crush, Hyun Jin, in her absence.
As Bo Ra begins her mission to watch over Hyun Jin, she crosses paths with his close friend Woon Ho—also in the broadcasting club. What begins as a sweet favor turns into an emotional and unforgettable coming-of-age journey filled with first loves, heartbreaks, and the magic of youth.
