North Korean defector Loh Ki-Wan (also known as Song Joong-Ki). Thanks to his mother Ok-Hee (Kim Sung-Ryoung), he has traveled from North Korea to the strange nation of Belgium. He wishes to become a permanent resident of the nation, but his only chance of doing so is if the Belgian government grants him refugee status. He battles to obtain that. Next, Loh Ki-Wan meets Mari, played by Choi Sung-Eun. She was born in Korea, although she currently holds Belgian citizenship. She used to be a shooter. Mari doesn’t have a cause to live, in contrast to Loh Ki-Wan, who traveled to Belgium in order to start over. Despite having a bad initial meeting, they end up falling in love.
